To help the many parents looking for ways to make a meaningful contribution to their children’s classroom or to show their appreciation for their children’s teachers, the Middleton PTO has asked the teachers to give us their teaching “wish lists.” The wish lists include learning materials and tools that teachers cannot fund through the annual school budget. In many cases the teachers would either pay for these out of their own pockets or do without. (Please note that not all teachers will choose to submit a wish list.)
Of course, parents are never expected to give anything “extra” to teachers or classrooms, but having such a fabulous teaching staff at our schools, we know it is a common practice. Do not feel that you must do anything differently now than you have in the past. The Teachers’ Wish List is just intended to be another way to help support our school community.
If you do choose to buy something for a teacher from their wish list, please email us at info@middletonpto.org so that we can update their wish list and avoid duplicate gifts.
